Thank you to our amazing team of volunteers across the event – giving up their time to give you a great day. Thanks also to Burton Constable Hall staff for their assistance in making the event run so smoothly.
We’ll be back on Friday 17 June for our 10K and fun run around the grounds. Entries will open later in January.
The Route
The 5 mile trail will start at 10am in at the south side of the Stables and alongside the old airfield before heading across to run alongside the lake and over the bridge. The route then takes you along the northern side of the Grounds towards the Hall before passing through the gardens and looping round to follow the old drive and return along the lake. You’ll then return to the airfield for a full loop, passing the whale memorial before encircling the Hall to finish with it as your backdrop.*
The route is around 80% trail paths on a flat surface which is undulating and there may be some soft/wet/marshy patches.
*Course subject to change in event of parts not being passable on race day
