Due to a change in circumstances within LKR Events and as a result LKR are stepping away from their events. Whilst we have a new organisation to take the event forward and had hoped to hand the event over for the April 2023 race, we have been unable to secure the necessary team needed to be in place to deliver a safe and secure event.

It is therefore with regret that we have had to cancel the 2023 race. We will be contacting all entrants directly by email week commencing 5 March 2023.

LKR will be passing the event over to a local charity for 2024, provisionally Sunday 7 April 2024. On closed roads around the villages of Great Hatfield, Goxhill and Sigglesthorne, to the south west of Hornsea, runners can enjoy quiet country roads over the minor undulations of East Yorkshire.  The course is certificated at 8.74 miles (one third of a marathon) with two drink stations and a fast finishing straight and chip timing.
